The Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) has commended recent court judgments that upheld consumer rights across several key cases, describing them as a major boost for fairness, accountability, and justice in Nigeria’s marketplace.
According to the Commission, the rulings affirm that the legal system remains a vital partner in protecting citizens from exploitative and deceptive business practices. The agency said the courts have consistently reinforced the right of consumers to seek redress and obtain compensation when businesses fail to deliver on their promises.
