This performance lifted the market’s equity capitalisation to N95.6 trillion during the period.

 

Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) advanced by 1.63%, closing the week at 149,433.26 points, compared with 147,040.08 points recorded in the previous week.

 

Market sentiment was buoyed by strong performances from Morison Industries Plc, MeCure Industries Plc, and Japaul Gold and Ventures Plc. The trio delivered impressive returns, earning spots among the best-performing stocks of the week and positioning themselves as stocks to watch in the new trading week.

Morison Industries Plc (MORISON)

 

Morison Industries closed trading on Friday, December 12, 2025, at N4.69 per share on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), representing a 9.8% gain from its previous closing price of N4.27.
