realme has introduced the GT 8 Pro Aston Martin Limited Edition in China on November 10 2025, combining top-tier specs with motorsport-inspired styling in collaboration with Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team.
This special edition retains the core performance of the standard GT 8 Pro but adds a striking “Racing Lime/Aston Martin Green” finish, the iconic silver wing logo on the back and bespoke accessories including a race-car shaped SIM ejector pin and themed phone case.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and features a 6.79-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a massive 7,000 mAh battery, 120 W wired fast-charging, 50 W wireless charging and water/dust resistance rated at IP68/IP69.
The camera system is equally impressive: a 50 MP Ricoh GR anti-glare main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 200 MP periscope telephoto sensor with zoom capabilities. Front camera sits at 32 MP.
Availability is currently limited: the phone is priced at CNY 5,499 (around US$770) for the single 16 GB + 1 TB configuration and appears available in the Chinese market first. Global availability has not yet been confirmed.
From a strategic standpoint, this edition serves multiple purposes for realme: it helps elevate the brand’s premium credentials, aligns it with high-end design sensibilities via a motorsport brand, and differentiates the GT 8 Pro in a crowded flagship space. For buyers in Nigeria and across Africa, such a limited edition suggests that premium performance can now also carry lifestyle status. It remains to be seen whether local pricing will reflect import duties and currency factors.
