ASUS will make its new ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX available in October 2025 in key markets, targeting content creators and professionals who demand ultra-high-fidelity displays.
The PA32KCX is being billed as the world’s first 8K HDR mini LED professional monitor. It supports 4,032 local dimming zones, peaks at 1,200 nits brightness, and maintains sustained full-screen brightness of 1,000 nits.
Color fidelity is a major focus. The panel covers 95% of Adobe RGB and 97% DCI-P3, offers true 10-bit color depth, and ships factory-calibrated with a Delta E under 1. A built-in motorized colorimeter supports self and auto calibration to maintain consistency.
Connectivity is robust. The monitor includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports (one delivering up to 96 W of power), DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub. It also supports Auto KVM, enabling seamless switching between two connected systems using the same keyboard and mouse.
To sweeten the deal, ASUS is bundling a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription (including Substance 3D and Acrobat) in selected regions.
Analysts say the PA32KCX could reshape high-end creative workflows, pushing more creators toward ultra-high-resolution displays. Its arrival may accelerate adoption of 8K content pipelines across video editing, color grading, VFX, and design. However, success depends on software and hardware ecosystems fully embracing 8K.
