Data from the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) indicates that the Nigerian currency appreciated to ₦1,644.86 per US dollar, a gain of ₦15.97 compared to the previous day’s rate of ₦1,660.82 per US dollar on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
In the parallel segment of the foreign exchange market, the naira remained stable against the dollar, trading at ₦1,750 per US dollar, the same rate as the previous day. The naira also held steady against the British Pound, trading at ₦2,255 per £1, consistent with the previous day’s rate.
The Canadian Dollar remained unchanged, maintaining a rate of ₦1,300 per CA$1.
Similarly, the naira closed flat against the Euro, trading at ₦1,850 per €1, the same as the rate on the previous day.
